Theme: Intro to Momology
MOPS, a new ministry at First Christian Church for Mothers of Preschoolers, is a place that helps moms, know the unique joys and challenges of this early season of mothering. This MOPS group will offer you an authentic community where you can come and experience encouragement, support and hope with other moms just like you.  During your MOPS meeting, you will enjoy fellowship, teaching, creativity and YOU TIME, all while your child is lovingly cared for. In addition to the MOPS group experience you will receive a variety resources to help you be a better mom!

9/2  Intro to Momology (this year's theme)
9/16  Home economics-Bring your favorite dish and the recipe to share . We will discuss Fix and Freeze meals.
9/30 Steering Team meeting.  Open to anyone interested in helping with MOPS

September Service project
Collecting for a “Baby Shower” for a Teen MOPS group in Bourbonnais. Suggested items are: $5-$15 gift cards for local stores and restaurants, diapers, wipes, new or gently used baby clothing, toys, or anything a baby might need. Also for the moms: body lotions, makeup, hair accessories, jewelry, and anything else that might make a teen mom feel special. These items are available for teen Moms to purchase from a “MOPS store” using MOPS bucks they earn by attending meetings.
