King Ahaz

Second Kings chapter sixteen: This chapter tells all about the reign of King Ahaz. Even though Ahaz is the son of King David, he blatantly chose to follow and different path disobeying God at every turn. He committed heinous acts against God, including sacrificing his own son to a pagan god and destroying the temple altar. We are reminded throughout chapter 16 of what can happen when someone deliberately goes against God's plan.
