Paul Before the Sanhedrin
Aug 23, 2023 • Ryan Leachman, Chuck Bloom
Paul is brought before the Sanhedrin. After addressing them, the high priest orders Paul to be struck. Paul then calls out the High Priest and the council is divided over Paul's belief in the resurrection. This division was so violent that the Roman officers escorted Paul back to the barracks for his safety. There, they discovered a plot to kill Paul by the Jewish leadership. The Roman commander then instructs Paul to be escorted to Caesarea, where accusers must bring their case to the governor.
