Read God's Word then Act
Second Kings Chapter Twenty-Three: King Josiah reads the scripture with all the people, renews the covenant with God, and takes action to remove all evidence of pagan worship throughout the kingdom. He not only identifies sin, gets direction from God's Word, but takes action to remove it from the kingdom. Knowledge has no value without action and encourages us not only to read God's Word, but put it into action in our life. The chapter ends with Josiah being killed by the Egyptians which is due to not heeding God's direction spoken through Pharoah (we find out in 2 Chronicles 35). His two sons are evil and lead the nation into Babylon captivity.
