The Death of Joseph

In the last chapter of Genesis, we see Joseph's story end. The beginning of chapter fifty begins with Joseph grieving over the loss of his father. After going through the grieving process, Joseph asks Pharoah for permission to leave Egypt to bury his father. Pharoah agrees and even allows his officials to accompany Joseph. Joseph then reassures his brothers after they grow worried that Joseph may seek revenge on them after Jacob's passing. The chapter ends with Joseph promising his brothers that God will take their people into a land of their own. Pastor Jason discusses trusting in God. Pastor Ryan emphasizes honoring one's parents.
