Gospel for the Gentiles
The tenth chapter of Acts introduces us to Cornelius, a Gentile who was a devout follower of God. He regularly prayed and generously gave to others. God instructed Cornelius to search for Peter, who was in Joppa. Prior to their meeting, Peter had a vision in which he was told not to consider anything impure that God had made clean. Eventually, Peter met with Cornelius and his household and shared the story of Jesus with them. While Peter was still speaking, the Holy Spirit descended upon them, and Cornelius and his household were baptized.
