Christians in Antioch
In Acts chapter eleven, Peter goes to Jerusalem to clarify how the Gentiles received and believed the Gospel. Although some Jewish brethren initially struggled to comprehend what had occurred, Peter's explanation led them to praise God for the event. The number of believers in Antioch continued to increase, leading the disciples in Jerusalem to send Barnabas to Antioch. Upon arriving and witnessing the situation in Antioch, he travels to Tarsus to bring Saul back to Antioch. Together, they provide aid to those in need during a harsh famine.
