Attributes of Servants

In chapter three of First Timothy, Paul discusses the attributes needed for roles within the Church. He begins by discussing the qualifications of elders within the Church, including the need to be gentle, sober, and not greedy. He then shifts to the qualifications of deacons. Listing similar qualifications, these roles need those who love God and put others before themselves. The chapter ends with Paul discussing the mystery of our religion. Pastor Jason talks about being tested. Pastor Ryan shares how these attributes should be pursued.
