Terrible Times

In the third chapter of Second Timothy, Paul encourages Timothy to be the light in the dark world. The chapter begins with Paul describing how people are willing to hurt others for their benefit. To illustrate this point, he talks about how those who oppose the Gospel are like those who oppose Moses during the Exodus. Timothy and Paul's readers are called to live opposite those who abuse others. To do this, readers must follow the teaching of scripture even in the face of persecution. Pastor Ryan highlights how we can use scripture to live a life honoring God.
