Using our Head
This sermon was preached on 09/24/23 at First Christian Church in Wilmington, Illinois.
What is in our head controls our complete experience of life: our postures, our emotions, our voluntary and involuntary actions. Every one of us is in a spiritual war for our inner health. The fight between our flesh desires and God’s holy desires for our lives. God wants us to be equipped with wisdom, and God gives us insight into how we should live because He created life. Sin is what pollutes our minds. However, His Holy Spirit indwells in us and moves us to do what we cannot do on our own: to overcome sin.
