This sermon was preached on 09/03/23 at First Christian Church in Wilmington, Illinois.
God is a God of love. He first loved us so that even at our worst, He would send His son to die in our stead as a sacrifice. That means that if we follow God, we are called to be a people who love. We love God because he first loved us, and our hearts have been transformed to seek Him first. We are called to love others as God does. Jesus died for all, so we are called to show love to all. Our hearts are used to love God and others.
